B.R. Howard was awarded an ongoing 5 year contract with the U.S. Senate to perform consulting, annual assessments, and conservations treatments.
What we did
A variety of architectural elements, reliefs, statuary, and sculpture have been conserved. The materials treated have ranged from marble, bronze, plaster, and silver. Some of the objects such as decorative urns are able to be transported to our lab. Other treatments are scheduled and performed on site when the Senate is on recess.
